I talked this morning about an inflection point in this country right now, specifically for reporters: What are you more afraid of? Being on Breitbart for saying that trans people deserve to be alive? Or are you more afraid of waking up to the news of more dead people?

I've been covering bad parts of the internet for long time now. For years, there was one site extremist researchers warned me not to cover because publicizing it would be dangerous. But it's time people know KiwiFarms—and how they're chasing political enemies around the world.

I’m not following it closely, but I find it funny how people were obsessed with how utterly devoted to each other Morticia and Gomez were and romanticised it as the perfect relationship until the exact second they stopped finding Gomez conventionally attractive.
I think the last bit is kinda the biggest point. They are forcing us to fight for our rights rather than live our lives. I’m glad he found a way to do this.

Excellent thread. Also- medical schools routinely reject fat cadavers. They literally throw away the opportunity to learn these skills. It’s infuriating. We deserve so much better. Stop pretending like we don’t exist.

(Real quick, abortion isn't always a "tough choice" or "heartbreaking" and that framing is so weird. Sometimes it's a miracle and a no-brainer and a straightforward healthcare decision for everyone involved. Abortion is healthcare and a human right.)
