Some commentators seem unfussed about mixing up the distinction between terms like 'elimination' and 'eradication', 'isolation' and 'quarantine', and 'mutation' and 'variant of concern'. Unfortunately, jumbled concepts can lead to jumbled discussion of their implications.
With all respect, I cannot believe this is real. If there is one disease where polygenic prediction research is flooded with flawed studies, it's cardiovascular disease. Too many studies that show minimal clinical benefits in tweaked analyses. Respect your patients.
