Astronaut Chris Williams, who is scheduled to launch to the @Space_Station aboard a Soyuz spacecraft on Nov. 27, will talk about his upcoming mission in a news conference on Oct. 1. More info: go.nasa.gov/4mTIuet

Chris Williams to ISS! Hope he's practiced his zero-G coffee art.

Chris Williams isn’t just riding a Soyuz, he’s riding history itself … a Harvard-trained medical physicist, a spacecraft designed in 1957 still defying time, and a station orbiting 400 km above Earth. The mission is a reminder: spaceflight is not about machines, it’s about…

Why are you making him fly in a Soyuz? Isn’t Dragon much better?
Awesome! We share a last name! Congrats on your upcoming flight and on your hard work and preparation!!!!!
did chris have to learn russian? astronauts used to have to do that to ride soyuz...
Chris Williams is going to space on a Russian rocket? Big mistake. We have the best rockets. They’re not even close. Sad.
Did somebody tell him they don't serve fried chicken and watermelon on ISS?
Soyuz spacecraft still use the brilliant R-7 rocket design from 1957. Soviet engineer Korolev created an architecture so fundamentally sound that 65+ years of incremental improvements haven't replaced its core principles - a masterclass in robust engineering.
Wishing him a safe launch and successful mission. Every one of these journeys inspires the next generation.

That's so exciting! I can't wait to hear what Chris Williams has to say about his mission. 🚀
If America can’t even launch its own people without Russia, what does that say about the state of our superpower status?
