Nice visuals of NO2 from TROPOMI yesterday (2/20). Generally above average NO2 due to relatively stagnant winds. Also primetime for prescribed burning in the South Central & Southeast US. More images like these at: tropomino2.us
Today will likely be one of the sunniest days of the year averaged across CONUS. Enjoy! 😎
See the just published work on the first-ever on-road, mobile ozone and aerosol lidar retrievals. I am happy to have been part of this great work coming out the @NASA_TOLNET team. #ozone #aerosol #lidar #NASA #TOLNet Link: agupubs.onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1029/20…
Balloon Fiesta Crew! We deployed our SMOL ozone lidar and other ozone sensors to Albuquerque to show the public the all the fascinating research we’ve done over the last few years. We will also host some ozone sensors on several balloons!
Most exciting post of the year in my opinion! First light #NitrogenDioxide imagery from #NASATEMPO! #AirQuality 😀🥳
It's official! We're on and working. Check out our first light images, which give a preview of our ability to track nitrogen dioxide on an hourly basis in geographic areas as small as four square miles! #AirQuality Full story: pweb.cfa.harvard.edu/news/tempo-ins…

From city street to stratosphere 🏙️🛫🛰️ This summer, @nasa’s STAQS mission is mapping air pollution in 3D across several megacities: New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and Toronto. go.nasa.gov/3rQuStC
Great day for a visit from @blefer and @theMrRoots in tbr @NASAGoddard @NASA_TOLNET trailer.
The #TEMPO mission is about more than just studying pollution – it's about improving life on Earth for all. By monitoring the effects of lightning, forest fires, volcanoes, and fertilizer application, @NASA data will help improve air quality across North America.
Our @NASAEarth & @CenterForAstro #TEMPO mission successfully launched. TEMPO will provide hourly, daytime measurements of air quality in North America. It will monitor three main pollutants and reveal disparities in exposure in our cities and communities: go.nasa.gov/40Q9v89
