Our Alice in Wonderland displays opened @newstead_abbey this weekend! Amazing work from over 140 design students and alumni from @NTUArtandDesign that complements our own installations perfectly. Creativity, magic and invention lead us down that rabbit hole! Come along and dream!
Last Tuesday, Years 6 and 3 took part in a poetry and an art/geography workshop which was delivered by Newstead Abbey and focused on ‘Mapping the Local Area’. The children showed excellent cooperations and creativity within these two sessions.

Thank you to @clunylace for letting us visit today to see the lace machines. Plus we have been gifted some Jacquard punch cards and lace pattern drafts for our Ada Lovelace Binary Art school session @Newstead_Abbey. Some amazing objects to see as part of the session.

Become a Paleontologist family workshop @wollatonhall with @Sue_Mallender. Looking at fossils, timelines and some hands on excavation. More sessions will be running over the summer holidays, check out the Wollaton hall website for details ( coming in the next couple of weeks!)
