HISTORY HAS BEEN MADE! Tonight, the North Plainfield Marching Canucks scored the highest in program HISTORY with a score of 83.8! Two still left until Finals! Way to go Canucks! #weareallmaroon
What a historic season so far for the Marching Canucks! Before tonight, the Canucks scored 1st at Roxbury High School winning all captions, then scoring 2nd and winning best music at JP Stevens and Monroe Twp! KEEP IT UP CANUCKS!
This week, the North Plainfield band program made history, starting our first ever North Plainfield Band Festival! The Somerset Band, NPMS Band, and NPHS Band all participated and connected with one another on this HUGE day celebrating our program’s continued growth and success!
Over our spring break, our Winter Color Guard finished their season at MAIN Championships in 6TH PLACE!!! Such incredible growth from our guard this season - we couldn’t be prouder of your successful season! #BEHUGE
KEEPING THE STREAK ALIVE! Congratulations to Theodore Six and William DePaul on getting accepted to the CJMEA Intermediate Region Band! 4 years in a row of Canucks in Regions! Special shoutout to Honorino Cholula, Hazel Sucuqui, and Kyndal Irving who qualified for the Honors Band
Better every year, so endlessly proud of our students and just how far our program has come in 4 years!
Today was an emotional end to the Marching Canucks’ season, finishing 8th in Class AA, scoring an 81.9: the Canucks’ highest score in 4+ years! For their first time in Class AA, the Marching Canucks once again raised the bar, and we are sad to say goodbye to “The Scarlet Masque.”

In our Class AA debut, the Marching Canucks win 2nd place at their first competition of the season!!! The Canucks also won Best Effect! GREAT START TO OUR SEASON!!

Yesterday, the Princeton Brass Band performed at the Mid-Atlantic Brass Band Festival at Rowan University, working with euphonium legends David and Bob Childs! Looking forward to our championships in April!

It’s great to be back in concert season! Being able to play in a brass band for the recital of Professor Aaron Vanderweele from Rutger’s Mason Gross School of the Arts was such a treat!
