Been tasked with personalising Years 7 to 11 study skills to our curriculum. Loving adapting @KateJones_teach templates to embed these retrieval and revision skills. This is our example for Year 7 Term 1 with a practise phase and independent phase. #geographyteacher #edutwitter
I can’t remember who came up with this design!? It may have been @KKNTeachLearn 👏 These sheets are great for last minute revision. I’ve put themes, topics, individuals onto A3 sheets. The two shown in the tweet look at surgery in the 19th and 20th centuries and care over time.
I completed some work over Easter using the BBC series, ‘Blood and Gold’ by Simon Seabag Montefiore. Trying to enrich the curriculum by looking at the contribution the Islamic World made to Al-Andalusia/Spain #historyteacher
Just had year 10 mocks, unfortunately the medicine paper wasn’t great. I’ve produced these modelling sheets to help with the utility, the explain style question and the enquiry. Thanks to @MrThorntonTeach for the IDoWeDoYouDo sheets that I’ve hammered over the last few years 👍
After discussing our KS4 assessment feedback we decided our current method of students re-writing paragraphs or full questions after going through the assessment wasn’t developing their knowledge or skills as much as we wanted to, so here’s a 🧵 on our new feedback approach:

Can’t believe the lovely responses I got to my Ofsted tweet. Here is the current version of the KS3 curriculum (which formed most of the conversation)-but there was a lot of reading/research/thinking/adapting which got us to this. Let me know if you have Qs.
Super proud of my school’s Ofsted report, but pretty proud of this little line. So much blood sweat and tears into getting it right for the kids, that this line doesn’t do it all justice… but… we will take it.
