Congratulations to Brandy Ballentine and Brett Gerbitz on being inducted into National Technical Honor Society this evening. You deserve it. We are proud of you.

Thank you Officer Bustillos for coming and talking to our classes about what all is involved with being a K9 handler and sharing your pup with us!

Unfortunately, I didn’t get many photos but I have to say these students worked their tails off today. This was the final crime scene for the sophomores (4 not pictured). If you know them or see them around wish... facebook.com/22064492809892…

Yesterday our students hosted 4th graders from Burlington Elementary school! They got to learn how to dust for prints and why PPE (personal protective equipment) is so important on a crime scene!

On Wednesday our students were able to hear from Darren Organ and Dian Organ about probation and different programs in place to help offenders. We cannot thank these people enough for coming and sharing their knowledge with our students!

While we may not all like the snow and everything it brings, it brought about an opportunity for our students to test their skills at print collection. They tried methods such as snow wax then stone, snow wax, snow powder, then stone, and just powder and stone.

Our 1st year students are learning some basic photography skills to help with their crime scene documentation. - Below you'll see 2 of our students posing for a 'freeze' shot.

A little “family photo” shenanigans during CSI picture day! Haha 😉

We still have a few CSI shirts left to sell! From large up to 3xl. Large and x-lrg $12 and 2xl and 3xl $15 a piece! Let us know if you’d like one!

Come see us in Hutchinson today and tomorrow at the Career Fair!

The sophomores have been hard at work lately between calculating the angle of blood droplets, testing their skills with the metal detectors, working a mock crime scene and working on their pumpkin carving!
