Met countless famous people in my career but no one has ever carried an aura like JFK Jr. I saw it firsthand in 1996 when he walked into the room for a George cover story on Charles Barkley. Looking forward to the @CNNOriginals feature on his life.

A great day for my brother @richardson_book -great choice and great news for the young men he'll impact for the rest of their lives. The price of redemption is steep, but it is paid in full by the scars we bear and the grace we receive. Love ya Book.

ITIA statement: We note the PTPA’s proposed action against tennis’ governing bodies, including the ITIA.  Credible international sport requires robust anti-doping and anti-corruption programmes, and we are proud of our role in contributing to a clean and fair sport.

I told @seanmgregory about Diana strolling into the NBA offices after she was drafted—I was there, blown away. I’d met Charles Barkley and JFK Jr. before, and she carried their same rare aura. #GOAT

As a high school freshman, I watched the Challenger explode on a portable TV. My teacher wept, and that moment shaped me. History's hardest lessons often remind us of the courage to dream, risk, and inspire.

A class act in broadcasting, Greg was incredibly helpful to me in writing and promoting Jack Youngblood’s biography, Because It Was Sunday. Always accessible and gracious—a truly remarkable man.

I don’t typically engage with trash takes, but sometimes the truth needs saying: A man who fears strong women reveals his own weakness; his only defense is to diminish what he cannot dominate.

The faux celebration of Caitlin Clark wearing this slut dress is how you know she’s been captured. She looks ridiculous. She’s off brand. She’s girl next door but they want your daughters thinking you have to slut it up no matter how accomplished you are.

For my Sports Media class: A perfect example of why proving you can deliver on your promise matters. #Netflix #Glitch

Another lesson for my Sports PR students: What makes an apology feel genuine or empathetic? Acknowledging the player by name (Drew, in this case) would go a long way. Drew mentioned “Coach Cam” by name in his gracious—though unnecessary—statement, showing a huge level of respect.

I want to sincerely apologize for my actions during yesterday’s game. I recognize that my physical contact with a player was inappropriate, and I take full responsibility for it. I value the trust of our players and there are no excuses for my actions. (1/2)

For my PR students: Penn State fumbled this. The spokesperson’s frustration didn’t help. A little empathy in such a sensitive moment would’ve gone further. The coach could’ve acknowledged the seriousness and stated it’s under investigation. Walking off only made it worse.

James Franklin refused to comment on rape charges against former players. My story, with video (from @JacksonRanger1) of when Franklin was asked: centredaily.com/sports/college…

One of the greatest honors of my career is supporting @richardson_book in his journey to a second chance. Grateful for your incredible work, @MirinFader. #PardonBook theringer.com/college-basket…

What a loss for humanity.

Another case of institutional overreach. No way I'd return this medal. The rules are arbitrary, and the athlete deserves better. This isn’t about taking from another gymnast—who also deserves recognition—but about standing with those treated unfairly. espn.com/olympics/story…

For those that know him ,Book Richardson is a good man, hard worker, committed to a fearless truth for players to improve and unafraid to help them chase greatness. Book deserves forgiveness !

Monday's Pat McAfee Show opened with a Caitlin Clark PowerPoint: "I would like the media people that continue to say, 'This rookie class, this rookie class, this rookie class'. Nah, just call it for what it is — there's one white bitch for the Indiana team who is a superstar."

Sure, @stephenasmith …I guess Better late to the party than never showing up at all.

Stephen A. Smith: "Who talks about the WNBA, who talks about women, who talks about women's sports more than First Take?" Monica McNutt: "Stephen A., respectfully, with your platform, you could have been doing this three years ago if you wanted to." Stephen A.: "Wow."

Every media rep in that room should have said “that isn’t right” and walked away in solidarity.
