This is crazy. Any company which can afford to take a long-term view of tech skills should be considering *substantially* supporting Sam's work. The joy and enthusiasm he brings to the next generation of programmers is undeniable.
I have such mixed emotions about my @Sonic_Pi work. Everywhere I go I get incredibly positive excitement & enthusiasm. Yet soon I’ll no longer be able to work on it due to lack of funds. Free open source software is clearly right socially yet totally unsustainable economically
