I want more emphasis on communication skills when hiring museum workers. There are so many communication problems that arise because of people's refusal to do certain tasks just because they don't want to. That's not how this is supposed to work!
Digital vs print images: Always print the photos you want to preserve. A digital image requires equipment in order to access it which will become obsolete over time, a print you will always be able to see. 🖼️ #AskAConservator #AskAConservatorDay

My school openly admitting to tolerating intolerance. But hey, at least they're honest 🙃
They painted BLM instead of defunding the police, clapped for essential workers instead of raising the wage, and made Juneteeth a holiday instead of making sure Black folks can vote. Always a symbolic victory instead of a material change.
