There are no gender based restrictions in Sikhi, yet why aren't there woman Granthis, professional Raagis, Nishaan-chis, Panj Piyare, Gurdwara Sevadaars (outside of Langar), etc? Bc the patriarchy permeates Sikh spaces. Sikhi itself is perfect but we ain't. So let's fix that.
