I would pay an extra 8.99 a month for Caller Justification.

Caller ID isn't enough for Me I need to know why you're calling.

Struggle grows your brain. But the type of struggle matters. Struggle + Curiosity = Adaptive Struggle + Chronic Fear = Maladaptive Pair struggle with curiosity and watch your brain grow.

The hardest ADHD truth for me to accept was the concept of having less motivation via less dopamine. I almost "Try Harder'd" and "stop being lazy'd" myself to death.

ARR casually came up in a sauna conversation last week...confirmation I chose the right gym :)

My favorite ADHD coping mechanism is the external cue. I love an alarm or sticky note to remind me to do something I would've forgotten....like look at "past me" helping out "present me" - what a good guy.

My biggest learning from this year is the importance of intentionally shaping your environment to support your goals. The reason concrete rose stories are so fascinating is because of how difficult to beat your environment.

ADHD time blindness is important to understand...our brains undervalue the future, meaning it feels too far away to adjust our behaviors to reach a goal, even one that we know is important.

What's one non-negotiable that you will complete this week? What do you need to do today to get going?

This is the week of the pivot! Still building Focana, but information coming soon :)

ADHD is a life lived in drafts. Almost organized. Almost on time. Almost finished. The gap between intention and execution isn’t laziness. It’s the friction of executive function. If that helps you feel seen, I hope this message finds you. XO, Dr. Jen

Dr. Russell Barkley calls ADHD a “self-regulation deficit disorder." This is an interesting and helpful frame. I find that alot of us are frustrated from knowing what we should do, but feeling unable to follow through (lack of motivation, distraction, etc).

Background music. 70s-80s-90s or funk/soul. How about you, Justin?

The barriers to entry for MVP building are lower than ever. Non-technical founders, it's time to act!

What are you working on today that will payoff years from now? #delayedgratification #ADHD #neurodiversity

I always associated ADHD with hyperactive children, and apparently my Doctor's did too. I didn't get diagnosed until my 30s but the not so obvious signs were always there...even as a hyperactive child, I was "just being a kid"

Ok, twitter is now X, but are tweets still tweets?

This week, I WILL sit through a whole TV show episode!!!! #ADHD

Anyone else every temporarily forget that the M in MVP stands for minimal? Just me, I guess..
