Disabled people who get UC (or income related ESA) aren't even able to try and save for vital equipment/aids/adaptations... Because they'll get their benefits taken away from them. Many of these adaptations etc... cost more than the savings thresholds. It's a disgusting system.

Earlier this morning Janey passed away in her sleep. Her family were with her. The love and support from all her friends and fans during this cancer journey brought her enormous joy. It has also been a huge comfort to us, her family and close friends, thank you.

"Just force yourself to have a shower" Yeah because it's totally that easy... Also, no it doesn't always make us 'feel better after'... it can actually cause sensory overwhelm, pain and even more exhaustion. Hence why it's one of the things that stops when I'm struggling.

People aren’t just born with a disability , people can acquire a disability at any point in their life. It can be temporary or permanent No one is born a carer but you can easily become one Then what financially? Think before you cheer on benefit cuts, think carefully indeed
This language is misleading and potentially dangerous. Autistic people are not a monolith. My autistic traits affect me in and out of society. Splitting hairs with semantics can be invalidating and triggering. Nuance is hard with character limits, but this missed the mark.
Autism Speaks is a hate group, and they should have no place in any Autistic person’s life. I’ll gladly die on that hill.
