Six years ago today, Eric Garner was killed by NYPD officer Daniel Pantaleo. Garner was put in an illegal chokehold and said he couldn’t breathe 11 times. It took 5 years for Pantaleo to be fired. He has never faced any charges. Pantaleo is currently suing for his job back.
