This could be the start of something big. Combine the EU and India, add Brazil and Indonesia, throw in Nigeria, Argentina, Japan and South Korea. Drive a common agenda (trade, tech, climate, security) through the whole thing. And you get the beginnings of a new geopolitical pole.
If the Democrats manage to take back the house in the mid-term elections @AOC would be well-placed for speaker of the house. Just because @RepJeffries is minority leader now doesn't mean he automatically has to be SoH if Democrats become the majority.
.@AOC is one of the few elected leaders consistently meeting the moment under this administration. It is always evident in the way she speaks that she has a backbone, has done her homework, and has a pulse on how the American people are feeling.
