Feels like the right time to recycle an updated version of my Samson's #DollyPartonChallenge. See you in the sunshine (and not here anymore).

We shouldn't be surprised that people who embrace books bans don't recognize historical references (either ancient or revolutionary). Especially when martyrdom and a persecution complex are so central to their personalities.

Spoiler alert: You will never watch an amateur video of fireworks in the sky. Put down your cell phone.

It’s a false premise that SLC needs revitalization.

Come see us today at #UtahPride for free HIV tests, free mpox vaccines, free Narcan, free at-home COVID tests, and lots of great prevention resources, including suicide and substance use prevention. We are immediately northwest of the east stage!

The release of this list is always one of my favorite signs of spring!

We added the list here to save you some time 😉 Who's ready to soak up the sun and greet summer with your pup on the patio? I'm pawsitive you'll have a great time ☀️🐾 #SLCo #DogApprovedPatios

Amazing how many #SLC X users are suddenly urban designers, architects, and/or urban planners. It reminds me of how many epidemiologists and immunologists we suddenly had on social media in 2020/21.

I’m really happy the truth is now out there about this terribly sad situation; it was making me crazy seeing all the inaccurate rumors on here and not being able to correct them!

"I mean, this was definitely not planned." The Holladay homeowner where dynamite was detonated Wednesday morning is apologizing to neighbors for the damage to their homes and disruption to their lives. @KSLSharaPark has her story. ksltv.com/?p=639989

Found on the sidewalk in #CentralCity #SLC: real estate flyer from >20 years ago. Before the hair and Earthlink email address gave away its age, I saw the price and was about to speed dial our mortgage lender to get me a loan ASAP to snatch up this duplex deal!

I braved the world’s largest Costco on general conference Saturday. #AMA

Kudos to #SLC staff for acting quickly; I’m pleasantly surprised. Now we’ll see if the ramifications and remedy are sufficient…

Out here now with the Building Services Division and have issued a Stop Work Order. Thank you to the City staff that caught this shameful and illegal demolition before it was too late. This building was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1978.

Hey @slcmoves, why aren't city streets with >3 lanes of traffic or posted speed limits of 30+ mph eligible for the Livable Streets program? Your program criteria has eliminated the (widest and highest-speed) streets that are MOST in need of traffic calming to improve livability.
