Went 43/46 for an 89 with the backup clubs at Gearhart Golf Links with my boys. 31 putts using a 3i (backup set has no P) and a birdie. C- (7) got his first real par, and C+ (11) bogeyed the 2nd longest par 5. Awesome day of #golf

Also, we got an email today that they are discounting rounds 25% for now until things get better. So that’s on top of the cheaper seasonal rates. Only two of the courses are in bad shape, and it’s only the greens at Bandon/Pacific. Stop complaining, it’s still incredible!
Lotta people bashing @BandonDunesGolf lately. That’s fine, that’s their take and they’re entitled to it. But, don’t come back. Leave it for the rest of us. I’ve been a few times and never had any of these issues, one bad time doesn’t ruin an entire place forever
So it turns out the famed Gearhart Golf Links lets kids under 13 play for free. Best believe I took both boys for their first full 18. Such a blast, wish I had taken pics
Indian Canyons north course. Loved the palm trees and a super fun course. Was blowing 35 at times so made it a bit of a challenge
Gary Player signature course. Much more fun than the Dye course yesterday, also longer and more challenging.
Hideki in yellow, Rickie in orange, Tiger in red… I’d like more guys on the @PGATOUR to claim a color. I think this is an easy way to grow the game and fans, plus, it makes them look like a unique human, not just a golf robot
Joggers, shorts, jeans, dockers, a combination of all of these… I don’t care what you wear on the course. I don’t care what the pros wear. Why does everyone care what people are wearing when they golf? How does their fit impact you so negatively?
API has been pretty incredible today, especially the last 2 hours. Lot of movement and the pressure is building
The avg last place finisher on the @PGATOUR gets about $13k. Times 23 tournaments and that’s a cool $300k a year to play golf and come in last every time.
Is it wrong to go to the country club I’m not a member at and use their practice facilities for free? It’s right by my office and 2 of my friends are members… not that anyone’s stopping me anyway
