Because I can’t resist getting ratio-ed… I don’t think this is a bad idea and prefer drinking culture in countries where lager comes in smaller glasses. Pint glasses were designed for much weaker ales!
Reading the replies to this it's quite something that nostalgia among people of a certain age is all for an absence of something (smartphones and social media) and for inconvenience. We're such contrary creatures
