I've said it before; treat your own heart as if it was your child. When you forgive and have compassion on yourself, when you guide yourself in love, it makes it easier to do so for others.
What is hidden in plain sight is often hardest to find.
In contemplating status, remember: God doesn't consider others below Himself.
Really think about how many times you've wished for others as you'd wish for yourself, and then reflect on whether you have guilt asking for things
Think of the effort needed to build a house: blueprints (intellect and creativity), resources, labor (over time). Your life is much more complex, do not leave it to chance.
This New Year, be wary of those that wish for your dedication or attention without offering theirs. This not only cheats you, but cheapens them. Out of love, resist this trap.
Only those with fear in their hearts use fear as a weapon. They are well acquainted with its power, and would rather others succumb to it first.
Here's to another year of growth. When you recognize that all things contribute to your advancement, you can move forward with confidence. Happy 2018 :)
Just remember to be gentle to yourself today. Many things remind us of pain but few of beauty.
Perfection is not a state to be achieved, but a moment to be enjoyed.
