Husband first. Dad of 4. Love my family. My post will remind me, and hopefully you, to slow down and enjoy these crazy parenting years.
But becoming a dad was the greatest thing I never knew I wanted. I didn’t realize there was a part of me still waiting to be unlocked, a depth of purpose I hadn’t touched yet. I found a kind of joy that doesn’t need applause, a pride that lives quietly in the everyday moments.
Anyone else only drink water when you’re walking around cleaning up water bottles? Just to finish them off?
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again, it takes ZERO work to become a father. But it will take everything you have to be a Dad.
Don’t let your kids have social media. Dads… it’s our JOB to PROTECT our children.
