If anyone needs to understand just how special this era of Padres baseball is, my dad asks me about them every time we talk. We’ve never been a baseball family. I just spent the last 20 minutes explaining to my dad how AJ is a madman. These are the things I’ll remember.
Watching this makes me both so happy for the two of them and so sad that the Spanos family took them from the city that absolutely loved them and that they absolutely loved.
