Iowa State U admin is clearly going full Ned Flanders here revoking van privileges, but Devil’s advocate here: Van renting is just that, a privilege, not a right If you are on team admin, you dumb enough to park vans at a strip club? Both legal, both risky image-wise 🤷♂️
Iowa State drove to Colorado for games this fall and parked the school owned vans they took at a legal weed dispensary and ate at a restaurant nearby. They never went into the dispensary. A third party took a picture and posted it. ISU saw the post won’t rent vans to the team now
If we have to explain that the University of Utah has more resources (everything that means) than a Colorado School of Mines, a St. Edward’s, a Pacific Lutheran, or even a St. Thomas, then the MCLA is in great hands because NO ONE GETS THE MISSION, dead on arrival
What “resources” do they have that others don’t? Can’t imagine the Varsity team even recognizes they are there.
With all due respect for the team’s effort and win today, this tweet completely discounts all the non-NCAA Division I MCLA programs who put in the same hard work, grit, and heart and didn’t have the resources of an NCAA Division I university infrastructure around them
You don’t just throw together a championship team. You get there through hard work, grit and a massive amount of heart which this Utah team has shown in bunches. As well as good preparation, leadership and a will to win. But I guess having haters means we made it right?
