Hi,๐ Iโm Favour. I share notes on life, growth and discipline with the goal of becoming 1% better daily. Think of this space as lessons Iโm learning that might help you too. ๐ If youโre on a journey of growth, youโre in the right place. โ๏ธ Follow so you don't miss out.
Every now and then,I get into situations that tells me I still have a lot of work to do. But that's okay, because I'm handling situations way better than I used to.
How did we end up like this? Being nonchalant is glorified and caring is seen as "too much". How did we fall so low?
Discipline is a skill hard-earned but definitely worth it. Maybe if we talked about how hard it is more often, we'll appreciate it more, don't you think?
Two things I learnt this night.. 1. The inner reality creates the outer form. 2. The universe bears no ill to me, I bear no ill to it Do with this information as you please.
Every now and then,I think about the saying "don't regret the things you've done, only regret the things you didn't do" What they fail to mention is that it doesn't apply to all situations. You actually need to regret somethings but just don't beat yourself up too much.
Being impulsive has cost me a lot of things. It's funny how a situation can go wrong all because you were too hasty to make a decision. I'm still learning to sleep on things or to just let things be. Have you ever been in such a situation?
A pause is not the end of your story!! It's an opportunity for you to go off the grid, reset and come back stronger๐ช
Not every day has to be about chasing goals. Some days are about slowing down, resting, and remembering why you started in the first place.
Often times,we victimize ourselves so much that the possibility of something good happening to us feels unreal. We even shut down those anyone that exhibits optimism because to us,they aren't "realistic" enough. Definitely something we need to work on.
What's harder for you...starting something new, or staying consistent once you've started?
Peace isn't found in silence. It's found in not needing noise to feel alive. For sometime, I was surrounded by noise, the noise of being "busy," the noise of "too many friends." But neither that nor isolation helped. You know what helped? Outgrowing the need to have someone.
Every now and then, I run into situations that reminds me that growth doesnโt always feel good. Itโs uncomfortable, sometimes painful but thatโs how I know Iโm doing it right .
