The escape hatch is resisting optional complexity until your pain demands it. Start with a clean monolith, one cluster, no mesh, and boring defaults. Add microservices or a mesh only when scale or ownership forces the move. Complexity isn’t evil — adding it too early is.

We started with: “Let’s make software simple.” Then added: → Microservices → Kubernetes → Service mesh → API gateways Now we spend 3 days debugging a YAML file.

Perfect architecture isn’t the one with the most design patterns it’s the one where your code is reusable without forcing it.

You don’t need 10 frameworks. You need 1 that you actually understand.

And all this… just to make my email sound ‘more professional’ and fix my code by adding new bugs. 🤣🤣

After 10 years, I realized the hardest part of software engineering isn’t code. It’s communicating clearly why that code exists.

The best engineers I’ve met weren’t the loudest in meetings. They were the ones whose code needed the fewest explanations.

Senior devs aren’t the ones who know everything. They’re the ones who panic silently but still deliver.

If Jenkins says “SUCCESS” on the first try, celebrate. If ArgoCD syncs cleanly on the first try… yeah, that’s definitely a hallucination. Check your cluster before you buy the lottery ticket. 😅

In Java, 90% of performance problems aren’t solved by ‘optimizing code’. They’re solved by understanding how the JVM thinks.

Spring Boot is 80% convention, 15% annotation, and 5% black magic you learn by debugging at 2 AM.

I don’t commit mistakes. I push them to production.

If Jenkins says “SUCCESS” on the first try go buy a lottery ticket. That was luck, not code

If you ever said “I’ll fix it later” congrats, you’ve just created tech debt worth $1000
