24 years ago, Mahmoud Abdul-Rauf was fined the equivalent of $52,000 for not standing in line for the National Anthem and lost a lot more due to the problem in created. Today, the NBA at least owes Abdul-Rauf an apology and a platform to be heard at the very minimum.
