@OpenHandsDev
OpenHands is the leading open-source agent for software development: https://github.com/All-Hands-AI/OpenHands
We built OpenHands in the open (~60K ⭐️ on GitHub). Now we’re giving back to the OSS ecosystem. Announcing the OpenHands Cloud OSS Credit Program → $100–$500 credits for maintainers. 👉 Learn how to apply!
This Claude Code #opensource alternative @allhands_ai CLI is amazing, using it with Groq's API key. You can find #opensource alternatives to popular software at @ossalternative. Worth taking a look. (No, I'm getting paid to promote this, wish I was though)

Claude Sonnet 4.5 is now available in the OpenHands LLM provider and OpenHands Cloud! If you're using the CLI, GUI, or are a cloud subscriber just select it at the appropriate dropdown. Overall, seems like a very good model 😃 We're still working on evals!

Big learning from AI Engineer Paris is that folks are increasingly concerned about model choice. Everyone who invested in Claude Code is feeling FOMO seeing how good GPT 5 is at long-range tasks Fortunately for us, OpenHands CLI users can easily swap between models!
We're excited to partner with Figma as one of their MCP client partners! figma.com/mcp-catalog/ You can use the Figma MCP in OpenHands to turn design into code through our MCP support: docs.all-hands.dev/usage/mcp
I love using autonomous agents like @allhands_ai OpenHands for 80% of the work (esp. backend), and then an interactive IDE like @windsurf or @zeddotdev for debugging, refinement, and UI work. It saves tons of my time and saves a lot of money too with the right models/plans.
Thank you @allhands_ai for supporting OSS dev 🙏 (with a great OSS AI agent)

A recent study by Becker et al. finds AI copilots like Cursor slowed expert OSS devs by 19%. But what happens when we compare copilots to more autonomous coding agents? Our study finds the opposite story: agents can boost productivity. 🧵
