We are pleased that the new sexual consent legislation went into effect in the last couple of days. These new rules will make a significant difference in our community's fight against sexual assault.
Those with lived experience of violence and abuse often experience feelings of self-doubt and guilt but are in fact incredibly resilient and resourceful. Affirmations are a good way to reframe negative thoughts.
This morning we were fortunate to learn from two fantastic speakers Gemma Dargin and Daniel McDonald as as we recognise National Reconciliation Week organised by the St Vincent’s Clinic Foundation. We thank our guest speakers for sharing their histories, culture and future.
