Departments across PPS are getting ready for the 2024/2025 school year. The Security Services Team attended the annual school safety conference. It brought school personnel and first responders together to learn and collaborate as we prepare for the upcoming school year.
Free Summer Lunches Begin Wednesday! PPS Nutrition Services department is proud to partner with Portland Parks and Recreation to provide free lunches to all children in our community ages 1-18. Lunches will be available Monday-Friday starting June 26. pps.net/Page/20860
The Safe Routes Bike Fairy visited several schools this morning for Bike + Roll to School Day. We tagged along to Scott Elementary and Grant High School. When the students get out of school they'll find goodie bags with trinkets and information about how to register their bike.
Tomorrow, May 8th is Walk+Roll to School Day and many schools across the district are participating! It’s the perfect opportunity for parents and kids to get outside together and stretch those legs! Walk, bike, skate, scoot, and roll to and from school. And tag us in your pics!
