AAP is encouraged by @pfizer's announcement and looks forward to reviewing the data from the clinical trial. All children deserve protection against COVID-19, and the AAP is eager to see the FDA review the full set of data as a next step for approval for children, ages 5-11.
Effective September 7th, PA’s masking requirement comes from the leadership of @pahealthsec. The Secretary is granted this authority under the Disease Prevention & Control Law.
