The mutational profile is associated with recurrence-free survival - patients with any driver mutation have a higher probability of recurrence than patients without these mutations, with NF1 mutations likely having a stronger effect (4/12)
We performed genotyping, whole-exome and transcriptome sequencing on 128 tumours from 96 patients. We identify the common #melanoma drivers + KIT as the most frequently mutated genes in this collection, and also... (3/12)
Most of the patients we studied have predominantly Amerindian ancestry (median 79%), with European (median 14%) and African (median 2.6%) ancestries also contributing to their genomes. This is in line with these patients being Mexican -an Admixed American population (2/12)
