I’m on state land overlooking Zumbro River before sunrise. THREE drumming grouse, bald eagles, geese, sandhill cranes, owls, cardinals but no gobbling. Others have also commented on lack of gobbling. Either no birds or so many that toms don’t need to gobble. Others thoughts??
I babysat my adorable 4-month-old granddaughter solo just for several hours today and was amazed that single parents do it day after day. So stunned and impressed that they can do it. When hungry, she goes from Little Miss Sunshine to thunderstorm in a microsecond. Love her.

This is the Zumbro River at Oxbow Park early this afternoon after heavy rain - we got 3” in NW Rochester. Clarity was 5 cm - about 2 inches. It was about an inch downriver at Genoa.
