I have PCOS. Plant based. In process to improve health and wellbeing. This profile is my own journey and thoughs..
One of my struggles of PCOS is the sudden overeating. The need to eat even if I understand that I'm not hungry. There is a high prevalence of disorder eating in people who have PCOS. Working on mental health aspects and stress, and acknowledging why I'm eating is a key. #PCOS
Current plan for fitness: improve strength. 3x strength training a week + 10 000 average step count daily. #ExerciseWithPCOS #StrenghtTraining #PCOS
Current plan for nutrition is to increase plant based protein intake and to reduce the portion sizes. I will not be counting calories, nor excluding any food groups. #NutritionForPCOS #CreatingHabits
I got myself a knowledgable personal trainer, who has great understanding around PCOS. She will be helping me to achieve a balanced life through training and nutrition. Luckily, mediation is something I already like doing. #PCOSjourney #PCOS
I was diagnosed with PCOS in (?)2015. I was told to come back when I want children, meanwhile, lose some weight. All my knowledge around PCOS is from self study, online courses, reading research ... I am now on a new journey to manage it better than ever before. #PCOS
