"Something to think about: The Earth is 4.6 billion years old. Let's scale that to 46 years. We have been here for 4 hours. Our industrial revolution began 1 minute ago. In that time, we have destroyed 50% of the world's forests. This isn't sustainable." #WorldEnvironmentDay
Happy Birthday @NSF
It's our birthday! Help us celebrate nearly seven decades of #innovation and discovery that have changed not just the United States, but the world. bit.ly/2ry1Qwy #NSFfunded #science

Our researchers have found that students involved in this program learn to work better in teams – more focused and more engaged. Ultimately, students who are not typically motivated to study science or math, develop deep interest in #STEAM.
At New Brighton Middle School, students learn about molecules after they download STL, 3D print and paint. How cool is that?! Thanks to creative #STEAM teacher Becca Mussetter @paleoteach participant, @eldrbob @STELAR_CTR @edneuro @UF_COE
