Paying staff in the NHS fairly doesn't remove funding for patient care. *Unless politicians decide it will be that way*. It's a national health service, it must be funded by the nation, not subsidised with the stolen wages of the staff.
Question to those saying the NHS should be replaced with an insurance model: You do know that it will be far more expensive, as you’ll not only be paying for the massive administration costs of insurance companies reviewing claims and paying them, but also for their profits?

BREAKING 🚨 | The first reading of the bill to restrict the right to strike is TODAY. If passed, this will mean health, education and other key workers will be forced to work - and SACKED if they don't comply. MPs must reject this cynical legislation.
Nurses don't want a 'one-off' payment. Nursing professionals want a sustained increase in pay, that aligns with inflation - pay that reflects their important skill set and societal worth.
