Snatched photo (for which apologies) of a stork’s nest on a telegraph pole in a Ukrainian roadside village. A common sight in Central Europe. If storks build a nest on your roof, it’s regarded as very lucky.
It should be in UK too. Right now I have friends waiting months for issues relating to a sinus operation, broken foot, urology, gynae… and an immune-compromised friend ill with active Covid who can’t get a doc appt today.
In America, health care should be a right — not a privilege.

CMRT call out for a male with a lower leg injury sustained during an avalanche. The climbers were able to self rescue down to the coire floor, they were met by the team and stretchered back to the ski area. Multiple reports of avalanches in Coire an t-Sneachda this afternoon.
I’m sorry but this U-turn is nowhere near enough. As we go into tomorrow, much more grip, clarity and leadership is needed if we are to manage the risks. Ministers should start NOW and make a clear statement that masks will continue to be mandatory on all public transport.
