Motor Transport Departmental Recruitment Exam will be held on 20/05/2015 and 26/05/2015.
Posting orders were issued today for 131/132 of recently recruited Police Wireless Sub-Inspectors under training at Gujarat Police Academy.
Hence, no injustice done to direct recruitment candidates as their quota is untouched-after 132 joined (1.7.14) 22 posts are still vacant.
Policy is to fill the total 398 posts of PWSIs on 50:50 basis-by promotion and direct recruitment and 88 posts filled were by promotion.
On 11-6-2014, 88 Radio Operators/Radio Technicians were pramoted to Sub Inspector Grade. This will not affect prospects of direct candidates
Last night orders were issued for promotion and posting of 88 ROs/RTs. They were promoted to post of PSI Wireless.
