The internet alone offers an overwhelming amount of data as it is. It is a plethora of info if searched right and knowing what to look for.

Collection of information comes from 4 primary areas we all experience: people, objects, documents, and digital media.

Everyone of us is an investigator. If you talk, look, listen, organize, think, ask questions, and read/write... you have the skills.

Once good info is collected, apply the facts, draw the conclusions, and after comes documenting to lead to a report.

PI work is based upon FACT and not fiction, where conclusions have to be drawn from the former and not the latter.

To get involved check out your local community's CERT program. Look it up on the internet. I start mine this week!

PI work is all about basics... collection of facts involving who, what, where, when, how, and WHY.

Private investigators can provide an array of services to the public. From individuals to corporations, etc.

What is a PI anyhow? A: It is a private set of eyes that you cannot devote attention to yourself. What you cannot immediately see they can.

While many PIs have a previous law enforcement background/experience, many come from all walks of life and varied educations.

Fact: the basic skills needed to investigate involve observation, interviewing, relations to others, and reporting.

New to twitter. Hoping to share some interesting PI tips/advice!
