What's disappointing is Moyes said yesterday that he's looking for the club to get consistency yet drops Patterson who played a role in the clean sheet at Villa. These changes and any resulting setbacks feel so unnecessary. You've found something that works. Trust the results.
The stick this man is getting is beyond. It's absolutely fine to be frustrated with selections, game time decisions & his faith in some players. But for the first time in a good five years there's absolutely no threat of relegation at any point in a season. That's progress!

Wow I scroll through twitter and see Evertonians who have forgotten where we've come from. A series of terrible managers, bad signings, relegation battles every year. Yet some are complaining - whilst we sit in 8th, 1 win away from a champions league place.
This is a season of huge transition. Owners. Stadium. Manager. Squad. Calm needed The transition is going very well. We may well miss an opportunity, but spending inflated fees now isn't going to aid the progress imo. The names linked would have been laughed about in the summer

I don't believe the performance was as bad as people make out. A draw over 90 mins against a good outfit. However you throw in the last 3 performances and it looks a lot worse. But...this squad is knackered. No options, poor players, a coach trying not to lose games

The Tyler Dibling situation is a major concern. Fair to question his quality, even his attitude, he was poor, but the club’s recruitment & handling of him so far deserves to be in the spotlight. Considered the next big thing - signed for a huge fee - now devoid of confidence.

It’s early days and I get he’s struggled with injuries but Rohl can’t move his feet quick enough and playing in central midfield in the premier league he will get found out massively

Lads, we've 7 of our "best" and first team players out. We are 15 points from safety, much better than last season. Diabolical to be knocked out league cup by Wolves but surely we didn't expect anything from this with suspensions, AFCON and injuries. Ride it out, summer coming.

One thing that has slipped under the radar as we all rant about red cards and poor substitutions and that was Pickford's save shortly before the end. As good as I've seen from any 'keeper all season.
How the top one from last night is a clear pen and the bottom one from a few weeks ago clearly isn’t is beyond me
