A "Downtown North Philly" with massive consolidated train station & dense walkable mixed use buildings on the 200 acres of current vacant/car lots around it would be a paradise worthy of a new Sixers Arena. We should do it! But until then, putting the arena there makes no sense.

Notably Tim Walz funded all of Minnesota transit and helped with funding a Light Rail extension in Minneapolis. Josh Shapiro on the other hand is letting SEPTA die. And he probably wonders why he didn't get picked for VP when his record looks like this.
