We are proud of our first Year 6 Playground Leaders (PALS) who received their gold award. They’ve been brilliant in supporting children with play at lunchtimes, for the last 6 months. They joined Mrs Reynolds this afternoon to receive their certificates and prize.
As part of GAF this year, Perry Wood Griffins have imagined a world with no sound and have been learning Imagine by John Lennon in #BSL
Year 6 Griffins showed perseverance and teamwork today when they took part in a Bellboating Regatta on the River Severn.
Today student from Worcester Sixth Form College came into Reception to support children with some of the artwork being produced for GAF taking inspiration from the artist Yayoi Kusama, whose work is always based on spots they began to paint toadstools and giant spotty screens.
Perry Wood Primary supporting families with the help and support of the Rapid Relief Team. 25 food parcels ready to go out to families and 2 big boxes of breakfast bars.
Year 6 Griffins have had a fantastic day bell boating on the River Severn
Year 4 had great fun making polygons with coordinates this morning. They also went on to name the shape and the properties of the shape, including: parallel and perpendicular sides and types of angles.
Years 2 and 6 have worked in partnership with Primary Engineers and Network rail to complete a STEM challenge. Each year group made a train using maths, DT and science skills. On Tuesday we had Masoud an engineer, come into school to judge our creations.
It really has been an amazing few days for the children working with @charma_chameleons on our fantastic mural display. The end result is truly brilliant is inspired by the children's sketches with the theme of Imagine. Thank you also to @PlatformHousing for funding the project.
A big thank you to Diane and Cyrus who visited from Garden Organic, to talk to the children about composting. After discovering the bugs in our compost bins the children explored The Nest garden, looking for more! 
Our amazing mural based on the theme of Imagine for the Griffins Art Festival is starting to take shape. We’re so excited to see it completed. Can you imagine what else will be painted on it? #GriffinArtsFestival

Last week, Falcons worked incredibly hard to create drawings of Tudor buildings using perspective. These are just a few of some of the amazing pieces that were created. #art
Healthy Living Week, Griffins across the school were treated to a Relax Kids workshop. They learnt some self-help strategies to manage worries. Many children commented about how calming the workshop was and how much they enjoyed it.
On 23rd May, 30 'Hay Griffins' went to Hay-on-Wye to take part in workshops all centered on books and reading with children’s authors. All of the children had a fun packed and inspirational day.
Year 3 had a great time exploring The Think Tank museum on Tuesday. They enjoyed all areas of the muesum but in particualar the Science Garden! They also enjoyed an informative workshop all about light which was the perfect way to end their half term's learning about Light!
