Raiders are finalizing a deal to promote run game coordinator/defensive line coach Rob Leonard to defensive coordinator, per sources. Leonard worked closely last season with Pro Bowl DE Maxx Crosby, whose future in Las Vegas remains uncertain.

Update: The Las Vegas Raiders are interviewing Packers’ defensive line coach and run-game coordinator DeMarcus Covington for their vacant defensive coordinator position, per league source.

I keep getting asked if the Packers are in cap hell. Absolutely not They can create a ton of cap space if they wanted. They can sign any player imaginable if they wanted. A few years ago it was the opposite - the team had to kick the can just to simply operate post-Rodgers.
