Georgia Election Integrity
@PaperBallotsGA
Georgia needs verifiable elections with #HandMarkedPaperBallots and audits. Demand to mark your own ballot if you are able. And no matter what, VOTE!

It’s no secret his allies stole the voting system software in multiple states including GA and MI in 2021 and distributed widely. GA has no way to detect or reverse a hack and refuses to safeguard the system. He who controls the software controls the result…
This scares me. He seems confident of victory. He knows something. What does he have up his sleeve?

After the Coffee County breach into the new election system, the SOS is going after... the person exposing the breach. It's normal SOS behavior, they did it in 2018 and 2016 after vulnerabilities were presented to them. They always harass the messengers and cover up their flaws.

Coffee County election breach probe | What a subpoena reveals
The state announced the GBI would investigate the alleged Coffee County breach – but Marilyn Marks said the state appears to be targeting her instead.
False claims about voting machines proliferated after the 2020 election. Experts say that can make it hard to have real concerns heard. bit.ly/37Dh8Vy
Reviewing a machine printed ballot is an additional and entirely unnecessary burden on a voter. Solution: voter marks a paper ballot with a pen in their hand. There is no need to check that a complex set of hardware and software (the BMD) voted exactly as you believed it to vote.
Ballot-Marking Devices are just an another computer put between the voter and their vote. The claim that those are not security risk is based on claim that voters check their ballots. Wrong, they don't check. And that's the human readable, not the barcode. #ElectionSecurity
The office of the GA Secretary of State impressed many recently with their resistance to fierce political pressure. Now here is the pivot as they throw all that good will in the trash and go back to being hyper partisan and unethical.

Goring forward, ALL political parties can benefit from a more transparent election process in Georgia, which is easily done by making hand-marked paper ballots the default method of in-person voting. This can be done with our new system. Mandatory audits afterward help prove it.
3/ There are also important limitations to the security of Georgia's paper trail, which could be mitigated by switching from BMDs to hand-marked paper ballots.
Critical point! If voting by BMD - verify the printed ballot! No audit will detect if the printed ballot does not match what you selected on screen. There is *one* person who is able to check if these match, and that is you the voter. Bring a sample completed ballot to compare.

Vote tomorrow you haven't yet, even on the BMD's! You can even vote against the state reps who voted to prevent us from marking our own ballots at the polls. It's easy to figure out who -- no Dem. state rep/senator on the ballot today voted for the new ballot marking devices.
The all-ballot-marking-devices setup in the perennially troubled and unexpectedly competitive state of Georgia creates the risk of widespread technical malfunctions, as happened in June. These problems will be temporary, but they could sow chaos and still depress turnout.
Always vote no matter what, but lets all keep up the pressure on our county and state officials to allow us to mark our own ballots by hand at the polls, and the state should audit *every* race (instead of just 1), to prove to that our votes are counted like they say they are.
Is Georgia's election system secure? It's an open question after officials remove password protections from key component of the system. ajc.com/politics/elect…
Georgia forces us to use ballot marking devices at all polling places, which is uncommon, much more expensive, less reliable, virtually unverifiable, and slower. Keep up the pressure on our GA state and county reps. Vote for people that support voters marking their own ballots.
The absolute longest wait time reported in Florida was 3 hours, with record turnout. On average, wait times were <20 min in most of the counties. Part of the difference? Paper ballots instead of ballot marking devices.
Cobb County GA early voting day 2, wait times from 45min to 4 hours. Compare to Jefferson County Kentucky below, day 1 (similar number of registered voters) Big differences: They use hand marked paper ballots, and different e-poll books.
Just over half an hour into the first day of early in-person voting in Kentucky and no line at the Kentucky Exposition Center, one of four early polling sites in the state’s largest county (Louisville’s Jefferson County)
Did they like the slower part, the vulnerable part, or the more expensive part? Or all of that?
Question for Georgia legislators who voted to require BMD's for all in person voting: Did you know they would be slower? If you did know this, why did you vote for longer lines? And why did this fall exactly on party lines in Georgia?
States that use ballot marking devices only will usually have longer lines than states that use paper ballots. There are a finite number of machines that can be used at any given time.
In GA one reason for long lines is fact that state is using new voting system statewide this yr that increases voting time by design, creating long wait. Instead of choosing optical-scan machines that let many voters fill out paper ballots at once then put them through scanner...
A reminder that every GA R state rep/senator voted for the new insanely costly and fragile voting system that is causing these lines today. The Dems all voted against it based on independent expert advice. We can all fix that mistake for future elections with our vote today.
Inside @StateFarmArena where turnout is big; but software issues w/ machines slowing it down. #earlyvoting #VOTE #11Alive👇🏻
A reminder that ZERO Dem GA state rep/senators on the ballot today voted for the voting system that is causing these lines today. The R's all voted for the new costly and fragile system that experts warned against, and is very different from the rest of the US. Vote accordingly.
A staffer announced machines are not reading the cards to put the ballots on the screen to vote. Provisional ballots are also not an option because “in early voting, we have no paper ballots.” The wait time is uncertain. #Election2020 #elections #Elections2020 #earlyvoting
Another reason in the mountain of reasons why having expensive and complex machines to vote for us instead of pens in our hand on paper is a perpetually terrible idea...
A laptop and USB devices were stolen sometime this week from the Philadelphia’s elections storage warehouse. I went over this morning to check out the security situation. I was able to walk right into the voting machine storage unit, alone, for several minutes.
You know what doesn't cause half the candidates in a race to disappear sometimes? And doesn't require a thumb drive emergency software patch on 33k machines? Hand-marked paper ballots #HMPB. Keep asking county/state officials to let us vote on HMBP at the polls in the future.
New: State elections officials say they have a fix for a software error that led to some of the candidates in the U.S. Senate special election to not appear on some voting machines during pre-election testing. #gapol gpb.org/news/2020/09/2…
Pesky 'activists'! Always trying to make the office of SOS do their job properly so all our votes count. Seriously, GA in-person voting lines are likely to be shorter on November 3 because of this. The fact that 'activists' have to fight in court for this basic stuff is nuts.
BREAKING: A federal judge has ordered Georgia to provide updated paper pollbooks to more than 2,300 Election Day polling places as part of an ongoing lawsuit challenging electronic voting machines. #gapol More to come. documentcloud.org/documents/7218…
