EDH as a whole doesn't "need" anything. EDH is by far the most popular way to play the game. If you are interested in reaching the one segment of the audience you are currently missing, competitive players, then you probably do need Reid or someone like him, though.

.@elonmusk is right: Donald Trump should not be permanently banned from Twitter. There are actual authoritarian regimes with active Twitter accounts. A better standard would be to ban any government from Twitter that restricts the freedom of speech. Don’t tolerate the intolerant.
