I'd like to announce that I've added a new section to my CV called 'Contributions to Diversity: Mentoring, Outreach, and Events Organized'. It's time we normalized getting credit for #DEI efforts.

#AcademicChatter magic trick: I blocked this week to get stuff done (writing, mostly). One week without meetings! Currently on Day 3, with the 3 most urgent tasks already completed. To do list getting more and more empty. I feel most productive. 💪

When I tried to get work done at home last weekend, my 5-yr-old decided to give herself bangs. 💇🏼‍♀️ Let’s hope I can keep her out of trouble long enough today to prep my lectures for this week 🤞@Momademia @AcademicMamas

Today I finally decided to take work leave. After a year of two parents working without childcare for 2yo + 5yo, the stress is too much. For a few weeks at least, I'm going to spend time with my kids without being torn in two. @Momademia @AcademicParents #AcademicMentalHealth
