Mediocrity without pretense is bearable— even lovable when someone is simply lost in being themselves, their story carried in their presence, if you can see it. Mediocrity wrapped in affectation is revolting. And most of social media, or life at large, is nothing else.
Imagine GenZ in Nepal fighting corruption, for free speech, for power and shit. And here, in India, we rot in casteism, religious and nationalist prejudice, and what not. Everyone wants to please, climb... What a hell hole. (no one reads an essay, so had to generalize)
