I haven’t had time for writing in a long time. Financial update: total debt down to $18,100. Should have mortgage paid off in Nov, which is six months ahead of schedule!

Lean FIRE doesn’t make any sense for me personally and I worry too many ppl count on living on less than they actually can. I think we all need to account for the unforeseen. Nice thoughtful post from GWFI

Great hypothetical of coast FI. For early starters this is really important. Otherwise you have to save multiples larger to reach same coast FI number.
