Attending the Remembrance Day service in downtown Halifax and I am saddened by the state of the people in uniform at this most reverent event. Shaggy hair, grey shoes and boots, uniforms ill fitting and wrinkled. Our once proud military has become a laughing stock.
Some takeaways from the @BlueJays playoff run: They had their chances. They won a couple games they probably shouldn't have, they lost a couple they should have won. They showed Ohtani to be a better than average player. Had some pleasant surprises/ disappointments
This stings. Apr 7/77 was my Dad's 38th birthday and we watched the 1st @BlueJays game together. Now he's 86 and has stage 4 cancer, I just hope last night wasn't the last one we'll watch together. If it is, it was a hell of a ballgame.
