As a father of 8, I'm guilty of "speciesism" 😆, but I disagree with @elonmusk & @harari_yuval on #AI - we need to be careful without being fearful. A 6-month AI break or heaps of regulations comes from fear; we need calculated progress, not paranoid regression.

"User Intent" is mentioned in Google's Quality Rater Guidelines 315 times. Why? Great content that ranks well doesn't get there merely because it was written comprehensively or because it was written by experts. It also matches what the user is looking for in that moment.

#Google may have been the long-time incumbent, but the #Bard blunder that cost them 100 BILLION in market cap suggests that #AI has instigated a new search engine war. A war that may end very differently than anyone expected even just a year ago.
The GPT playground didn’t go viral, chatGPT did. The UX is what allowed the masses to understand the power of AI. Goes to show that even when the underlying technology is the same, the best AI products will be the ones that are overly-focused on the user experience.

I plan to add ChatGPT & MidJourney to my Digital Marketing curriculum next semester. I’m sure I won’t be popular with some professors but it’s only a matter of time before these will be every day tools in marketing.
