The 5-min skit is a metaphor for how familiarity can be a spring of curiosity towards another person. On the other hand, it can also be the reason why everything comes falling apart. In social psychology, familiarity is one of the factors that heavily affect a relationship. (pt1)
🌧 This artwork means to show one who is enticed by the idea of someone drowning in misery as they don’t how to fix the relationship itself. Mixing this with Sternberg’s theory of “Empty Love”, the two parts signify the use of happy memories and the happenings now.

The artist expressed her reflection on how a personal relationship journey that could only seem like a gist could actually reveal a whole story, evidently accompanied by both theories by Sternberg and Levinger as well as the main factors affecting relationships discussed.
Due to Covid we may never see our loved ones ever again and because of this our relationships can fall apart. Sure we can all keep in touch with them but it'll never be the same as being there with them.This art is based on Levinger's theory on the maintenance of relationships.
